An air pellet gun is a perfect “accessory” for any growing boy or girl. Teach your son or daughter (or grandchild or neighbor, etc.) how to shoot properly with an air pellet gun. The truth is, one of these guns is a good and important stepping stone on the way up to a more powerful firearm.

You would never want to start your child out with a firearm before he or she has mastered an air pellet gun. And before you even hand an air pellet gun to your child, you must thoroughly explain proper gun safety and be sure that the concepts are understood.

Increase your child's confidence with a gun by using the air pellet gun for target shooting as well as knocking tin cans off of the fence, etc.

Once your child has mastered target shooting, you may even want to take your child and his or her air pellet gun with you for small game hunting or for shooting pests off of your property. The key is, you must both explain and enforce basic rules of gun safety - and be sure that you yourself are following these same rules. The example you set is very important.
